Bradfield Highway, Cahill Expressway
Looking across the Bradfield Highway and Cahill Expressway from Observatory Hill and the Sydney Harbour Bridge towards the central business district. The toll booths were removed from this location last year, replaced by electronic tolling equipment. The signs direct traffic to the various off-ramps into the city and out to the suburbs. A historic sign advertising Bushell's Tea Bags, an Australian brand of tea, on the side of a building has been restored and repainted.
The old sign was the first thing to draw my eye.

ReplyDeleteI too like the ttea sign. On one certain area on I 405 are electronic toll signs and cameras.
