O'Connell Street

Looking up O'Connell Street from the intersection with Hunter Street. The heritage listed buildings along the street lead to two contemporary skyscrapers at the end of the street, Governor Phillip Tower and 1 Bligh.

    1. Jackie, in this case it was named after Sir Maurice Charles O'Connell, commander of forces and lieutenant-governor of colonial New South Wales.

  8. Jim, we looked out our window at the Hilton Sydney and enjoyed these buildings in the landscape, straight down the street. Nice capture.
