Botany, Presbyterian Church

This former Presbyterian Church is located along Botany Road in the eastern suburb of Botany. The heritage listed church was designed by Albert Bond and built in 1880 in the Victorian architectural style. In 2018, the site underwent a major redevelopment with the church conserved but the surrounding property adapted for residential use.

    1. Blly, it's not used as a church any more and was up for sale late last year.

  2. Very much in keeping with what you expect of Presbyterian church styles here.

  4. I don't know if they were the colours they chose in 1880, but they seem perfect.

  7. Hello Jim,
Great you are showing All Seasons the architectural style, which I am unfamiliar with. Great clean lines! So the church is conserved, but also (parts?) used for a residence?
Many thanks for sharing this week! Enjoy!

    1. Jesh, they've restored the church itself and built residences around it. The church was up for sale so somebody could buy it and convert it into a house too.
