This fun sculpture has been installed in the World Square shopping centre this year to celebrate the Year of the Pig.

Culwulla Chambers

Culwulla Chambers is a twelve storey commercial office building with this frontage to King Street and another to Castlereagh Street. This heritage listed building was designed by Spain, Cosh & Minnett and built in 1912 in the Federation Free style. At the time of its construction, it was Australia's tallest building.

Redfern, art

This graffiti art is on the side of a former warehouse, on the corner of Evans Lane and Vine Street, in the inner city suburb of Redfern. It was created by street artist George Hambov, also known as Apeseven.

Strathfield, Santa Sabina College

Santa Sabina College is a Catholic Dominican private school located along The Boulevarde, in the western suburb of Strathfield. It was originally built in 1894 as the Santa Sabina Convent, designed by Sheerin and Hennessy in the Dutch Renaissance style. The statue of St Dominic was installed in 1901. It was made of Carrara marble, designed by the Dominican Fathers of the English and Irish Provinces and sculpted in Pietrasanta Italy by Angiolo Ferretti.

Wolli Creek, railway station

The entrance to Wolli Creek railway station is from Brodie Spark Drive, in the southern suburb of Wolli Creek. It is served by Sydney Trains T4 Illawarra line, T8 Airport & South line services and NSW TrainLink South Coast line services. The station opened in 2000 as part of the Airport line.

Kirribilli, hotel

The Kirribilli Hotel is located along Broughton Street, in the north shore suburb of Milsons Point. It was built in 1937 in the art deco style.

Balmain, fire station

Balmain fire station is located along Darling Street, in the inner west suburb of Balmain. This heritage listed fire station was designed by Charles Hellmrick and built in 1894 in the Victorian Italianate style.

St Peters, street art

This street art is on two sides of a building on the corner of Goodsell Street and May Lane, in the inner city suburb of St Peters. It was created by street artist PeQue and his VRS crew in 2013.

Strathfield, Holyrood

A religious sculpture at Santa Sabina College.stands in front of Holyrood, a heritage listed house on the corner of The Boulevarde and Jersey Road, in the inner west suburb of Strathfield. It was built in 1911 using the elaborate stone façade in the Baroque style from the original City Bank building in Pitt Street, designed by George Allen Mansfield, which was gutted by fire in 1890. The stonework was dismantled and transported in sections to this site. In 1936 it became part of the Catholic private school.

Circular Quay, fast ferry

This fast ferry is about to depart from the Circular Quay ferry wharves. My Fast Ferry is a privately owned company which provides ferry services from the northern beaches suburb of Manly to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour.

Suncorp Place

This view of Suncorp Place is from Grosvernor Street, between George Street and Lang Street. This 42 level skyscraper was designed by Joseland & Gilling architects and completed in 1982 as commercial offices for Qantas, then became the AAPT Centre and now Suncorp Place.

Bexley North, railway station

A view of Bexley North railway station from Bexley Road, in the southern suburb of Bexley North. It is served by Sydney Trains T8 Airport & South Line services. The station opened in 1931 when the East Hills line opened from Tempe to East Hills. A new Waratah Series 2 train can be seen speeding through on one of the fast through lines, added in 2000 on either side of the existing pair.

Moore Park, Sydney Cricket Ground

Looking across the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) towards the Victor Trumper Stand for a game of Australian Football League (AFL), in the eastern suburb of Moore Park. The Sydney Swans are seen here in front of the goal posts, just before they began playing their game against the Carlton Blues on Saturday. The clock tower at the former Sydney Showgrounds, now Fox Studios, rises above the Bill O'Reilly Stand.

This ferry wharf is located on the Pittwater Estuary, in the northern beaches suburb of Palm Beach. Palm Beach Ferries provides regular services to The Basin in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and Ettalong on the Central Coast.

Glebe, horse trough

This planter box is located along St Johns Road, in the inner city suburb of Glebe. This heritage listed item was originally a horse trough and serves as a tangible reminder of when horses were a common means of transport. This concrete trough is not as fancy as the sandstone James Spring Drinking Fountain and Horse Trough in nearby Darlington.

These floating walkways and pylons at sunset are at the Foreshore Road Boat Ramp on the shore of Botany Bay, in the eastern suburb of Botany.

Monterey, beach

These blooms are located in Cook Park, close to the Lady Robinsons Beach foreshore of Botany Bay, in the southern suburb of Monterey. They surround a sandstone monument with a brass plate which shows the directions of nearby suburbs and landmarks. The sign advises that the area behind the fence is undergoing bush regeneration and requests that visitors keep out.

Marrickville, Henson Park Hotel

The Henson Park Hotel is located on the corner of Illawarra Road and Chapel Street, in the inner west suburb of Marrickville. A hotel has been on this site since the early 1860s with this heritage listed building designed by Sidney Warden and built in 1935 with a blend of Inter War Functionalist and Inter War Art Deco styles.

Newtown, mural (Theme Day: Blue)

"It’s Like a Jungle Sometimes" is a mural painted on the side wall of a shop on the corner of Enmore Road and Bailey Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. The artwork created by artist Colin Bebe was at this location for over a decade but in 2017, it was illegally painted over by an advertising agency, to advertise a Hollywood film. After public outcry, the film director apologised and the ad agency restored the original mural in collaboration with the artist and agreeing to cover all costs assisting him in painting it.
