Sydenham, railway station (Theme Day: Orange)

Sydenham railway station is a junction for the T4 Illawarra, T8 East Hills and T3 Bankstown railway lines, in the inner west suburb of Sydenham. This heritage-listed railway station was built in 1884 as part of the Illawarra line from Redfern to Hurstville.

    1. Officially, the colour is terracotta but in the right light, it looks more orange to me.

    1. I"m not sure but for a long time stations were painted in white, cream or light grey. Then they decided to paint these old stations in heritage colours which I think looks so much better.
