Canterbury, railway station

This Waratah or B Set train is departing Canterbury railway station, in the inner west suburb of Canterbury. The station opened in 1895 with a line from Sydenham to Belmore. Today the station is served by Sydney Trains T3 Bankstown line services.

    1. Although they're still running in Sydney, the last time I caught one was three weeks ago and it was practically empty.

  5. It's been forever since I've been on a train, but we do use trollies and light rails when we visit cities that use them for public transportation. - Margy
