Camperdown, University of Sydney, New Law School Building

The New Law School Building is located along Eastern Avenue in the University of Sydney campus, in the inner city suburb of Camperdown. It was and designed by architectural firm Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp and completed in 2009.

  1. Are there no windows in most of the building? Seems rather sterile without natural light.

  2. I'm reminded of a couple of buildings here, including an embassy.

  3. A very modern building but the plants out the front break the gray colour.

  6. Fancy! At least on a sunny day (I remember many a cloudy day in Sydney, but the people were always friendly even then :-)...)

  7. I'm glad to see the floral cover and patch of green, otherwise something really sombre about the facade. Guess its Law school so...!

Thanks for joining us on #WW, dear Jim.

  8. I like its sleek and modern design. I'm not usually enamored of modern architecture, but I do like this building.
