Stanmore, railway station

A view of Stanmore railway station platform 3, in the inner west suburb of Stanmore. The heritage listed station was built in 1855, as part of the Main Suburban Line from Redfern to Parramatta. Today it is served by Sydney Trains T2 Inner West & Leppington line.

  3. Either that station has been redesigned and rebuilt since 1855, or it had modern, clean lines from the very beginning.

    1. There is metal lacework on the poles holding up the awnings which is very 1855.
