Bexley, school, mural

This mural is located on the front wall of the main building at Bexley Public School, along Forest Road in the southern suburb of Bexley. It was painted by Year 6 leaders in 2019 and features natives animals such as a magpie, kangaroo, emu, goanna, a tree and a fire. This heritage listed primary school was built in 1925 in the Inter-War style and was an extension of the school buildings on the opposite side of the road which remained as the infants school.

  4. What a nice addition to an already attractive school building. The elementary school near me is ugly, just brick and now windows visible. I've been inside, where it's build around a sunken area used as the library.

  5. That's a nice mural, I hope people make the link between fires and animals.
