This corner shop and residence now houses a bridal designer's boutique on the corner of Darling Street and Nicholson Street, in the inner west suburb of Balmain East. The ivy grows rampantly at this time of year.
Wow! That's amazing to see all that ivy crowing the building. Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2021/01/the-rest-of-indoor-herb-garden.html
Beautiful shop, holding lovely wedding clothes. But I suspect that during 2020 most brides either postponed their weddings or got married with 2 witnesses in track suits. Is the business still going well?
I like the balcony.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a lot of ivy.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how ivy affects brickwork, but it looks nice.

It looks like the perfect spot for a shop, especially in the older days. The ivy just adds a bit of class :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so great to see your link at 'My Corner of the World' this week!

ReplyDeleteIt seems to still be in business and the designer has her dresses available in other boutiques in Australia and the UK.

ReplyDeleteI love seeing buildings with ivy covering them, and that's a lovely blue backdrop of a sky.

ReplyDeleteI think the ivy just makes the building way more interesting.
