This mural of kookaburras is on the rear roller doors of a warehouse along Chalder Street, in the inner west suburb of Marrickville. 'City Feathers' was created by Karen Farmer in 2019. The artwork extends to the front of the warehouse where it features magpies.

Very cool. Did you shoot more photos of each of the three murals?
ReplyDeleteStefan, I didn't shoot these three individually. The murals at the front of the warehouse can be viewed by clicking on the link.
DeleteIt's a nice mural, it changes a dull building into an interesting one.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful depiction of AWESOME birds, Jim!...:)jp
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the mural and the birds. When I look up I see three, painted by Wendy Binks from Freo.
ReplyDeleteWe even had one coming by in our Caravan Park in Perth. Unlike the sad one in our German zoo here in Braunschweig that one was cheering us up with his laughter.
I love kookaburras :) Beautiful mural Jim, thanks for participating in Monday Murals.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a real kookaburra, but I certainly like this lovely mural.
ReplyDelete...it reminds me of the song, birds on a wire.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural!
