This fire station is located along Guildford Road, in the western suburb of Guildford. It was designed by William Mc Niven, architect to the Board of Fire Commissioners and built in 1928 in the Inter War style.

Just as well fire stations were purely functional buildings but at least this one has been well preserved.

Good that it's still seeing use as such.
