Central Park Mall is bounded by Broadway, Chippendale Way, Central Park Avenue and Carlton Street, in the inner city suburb of Chippendale. This shopping centre on six levels features fashion and lifestyle boutiques, supermarkets, eateries, cinemas and an outdoor space. One Central Park are the two apartment buildings which tower above. The vertical gardens were a collaboration between French botanist Patrick Blanc and the architects Ateliers Jean Nouvel. The native Australian plants, flowers and vines stretch over 50 metres high, making it the world's tallest vertical garden.

ReplyDeleteIt's a cute idea but I seriously dislike this building. It looks like the building has fallen into rack and ruin and the plants are taking over.
