North Cronulla, tower and sign

The lifeguard observation tower overlooking North Cronulla Beach, one of the beaches in the southern suburb of Cronulla. It was recently relocated, after weeks of rain and wild weather had severely eroded the beach. The huge swells battered the shoreline and had left the tower dangerously close to falling into the ocean.

  1. Long list of prohibited activities on this beach, but might be a good place for a walk. Interesting sign.

  3. I hope with the erosion that the authorities will be finding ways to restore the area.

    1. Me too. This was the beach our family regularly visited when I was young.
