Nice find
ReplyDeletePoor Jesus guy.
ReplyDeleteIt makes a point. Some people have very little compassion.
ReplyDeleteAlways a good reminder.
ReplyDeleteThe place where Jesus tells of not having a pillow for his head?
ReplyDeleteMeaning His disciples wouldn't get rich following Jesus around.
..
You would probably know better than I do, Jim. The chapter is Matthew 25.
DeleteI wonder if seagulls would poo on it
ReplyDeleteIt's immaculate so I'd say caretakers make sure it stays clean.
DeleteThere's one here.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadows. Quite a depressing sculpture though, as I see people sleeping just the same in my city, so it's too close to home, as it were.
ReplyDeleteThat's truly a touching image, Jim, compassion is such an important sentiment, I think not so common nowadays, alas!
ReplyDeleteSending hugs

I remember, years ago, my aunt (a social worker) pointing out where homeless people in her small Iowa city lived at night. The shadow is like an additional blanket for the homeless statue man.
