Monterey, beach

 
A view of Lady Robinsons Beach, on the shore of Botany Bay, in the southern suburb of Monterey. The cooler autumn weather has arrived but some people are still swimming at the beach.

    I have never been to Monterey but it is looking clean and peaceful. Not like Bondi in summer.

      Yes, they weren't too original when they named the beaches here last century: Monterey, Ramsgate, and Brighton Le Sands.

    Beautiful beach. We've taken some autumn beach vacations. People don't get in the water near as much as they do in the summer.

    California's Monterey has a beach too. I wonder what other Montereys in the world are beach communities.

    I can almost smell the beach and hear the sea. Love to walk barefoot in the sand and collect sea shells and glass and smooth rocks. Beaches is my happy place. I adore this beach.
