This 3.5 metre sculpture is located along the wharves in the inner city suburb of Woolloomooloo, with the Finger Wharf as a backdrop. 'Earth Custodian' was created by Dutch Australian artist Michael Van Dam. The Woolloomooloo Sculpture Walk is an annual exhibition of Australian contemporary sculpture which is here until May 30 2023, hosted by ARTPark Australia.
I liked the reviewer who said the custodian depicts the beauty and fragility of our planet, hopefully highlighting the importance of environmental protection.
