Queen Victoria Building, shop

 
Country Road is a clothing retailer which was established in 1974. This store is located in the Queen Victoria Building, a shopping centre bounded by George, Market, York and Druitt Streets. The entrance to the shop is on the first floor at the northern end of the arcade.

  5. The Queen Victoria Building is really lovely, but I don't remember seeing the entrance to the Country Road shop. Not enough glass windows, perhaps.

    1. It's on two levels and an internal staircase takes you down to the ground floor which has corner shopfronts.

  6. This is really a very nice intree of this store and does invite one to look inside the store. But the name does make me think of a street rather than a store.
