Marcellin College Randwick is a Roman Catholic school for boys, located along Alison Road in the eastern suburb of Randwick. Conducted by the Marist Brothers, it was founded in 1923.
It's a different architecture than I've seen with many college buildings (the front says it is a college - maybe one no longer?) The trees give it a distinct look.
I like brick buildings. This one is particularly pretty with the covered areas. Deep shadows there, nice and cool in summer, I'll bet.
ReplyDeleteI don't normally like heavy, dark red brick buildings, but the trees have softened the facade from the street.

ReplyDeleteThe building is still in use but there are more modern buildings surrounding it too.
