The Rocks, clock tower

A view of the clock tower which rises above Clocktower Square, on the corner of Harrington Street and Argyle Street in The Rocks. Clocktower Square was built in 1989 and comprises of a two-storey retail arcade, six-storey office tower and 61-room Rendezvous Hotel. Past the bare branches of the trees is a glimpse of Circular Quay.

  1. Bonita costumbre, de instalar un reloj en las torres. Así también conocemos, la hora en que has hecho la fotografía.

    1. It's a bit tricky though. It's not actually showing the time I took the photo because the clock seems to have stopped. It looks like 9.07am but it was actually 2.07pm.

  2. That's very nice. I don't see clock towers around here. Nice shadows, and bare branches make me think of cool weather. That's nice too!

since it includes a market and a hotel it will also be useful for the city!

  4. We don't have many clock towers here. We do have a famous one about an hour away. I liked the bare tree shadows, reminding me that it is winter where you live.

  6. Lovely old clock. We have one in downtown Vancouver - the steam clock and we love going there, although now more than a 100km drive, but when we were close we visited often.
