This tall ship is passing Pier 2 and Pier 3 of the Walsh Bay wharves at Dawes Point. The Coral Trekker is a square-rigged, wooden tall ship with distinctive rusty red sails. Her keel was laid in 1939 and Norwegian Adventures sailed her to New Zealand as the Ho Ho 2 where she was sold into the fishing industry. She was refitted by Australian Himalayan Expeditions and renamed “Coral Trekker”. She spent twenty-five
years in the Whitsundays before moving to Sydney where she is involved in maritime training and does daily sails and charters on Sydney Harbour.
