This view across the Georges River to Tom Uglys Bridge at dusk is from the balcony of the St George Motor Boat Club, in the southern suburb of Sans Souci. Linked to: Skywatch Friday.
A peaceful scene! The name Sans Souci brings back memories to me as there was an amusement park with that name near my grandmother's home that I visited every summer as a child.
It was named after Sanssouci in Potsdam, Germany, the summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia. So that why the name has been reused worldwide.
Such a lovely sunset.
