This sculpture is located near the entrance to Lewisham West Light Rail Stop from Hudson Street, in the inner west suburb of Summer Hill. "Flour Power" was created by Graham Chalcroft in 2014 from using rails recovered from a siding that once served the nearby Mungo Scott Ltd flour mill. The sculpture is part of a broader program of public art installations along the GreenWay, which aims to integrate art with the natural environment and local history.
“Flour Power” beautifully connects the area’s industrial past with its present-day community spirit, weaving history, art, and place into one evocative landmark
