Old warehouses make wonderful appartments, especially in a setting like that!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset view.
ReplyDeleteI thought Darling Island was originally a real island, separated from the mainland by water. Only when it was reclaimed as a peninsula would I (and maybe other people) have wanted the old warehouses to be redeveloped.
ReplyDeleteYes, Darling Island was a rocky island connected by mudflats, later reclaimed to become a peninsula with shipyard wharves and warehouses.
DeleteGreat shot, Jim!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful, great captured
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see how they redeveloped those apartments.
ReplyDeleteNice views from these apartments and handy location compensate soemwaht for the cramped spaces and lack of privacy... Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
