This lighthouse keeper's cottage is located at the South Head peninsula, in the eastern suburb of Watsons Bay. The footbridge links to the Hornby Lighthouse, in the Sydney Harbour National Park. Two sandstone cottages were designed by colonial architect Alexander Dawson and built in 1858 in the Victorian architectural style.
