These Norfolk Island Pines are located on the edge of Cook Park, overlooking Lady Robinsons Beach, in the southern suburb of Dolls Point. The clouds were rolling in from Botany Bay to threaten the sunny day.
Great photo, we hope to visit Australia one day, our daughter was very impressed. I have just dropped by from News From Italy to say thankyou for leaving a comment about my garden photos, much appreciated, thankyou.
I love your composition, Jim, as always! The trees do look like sentinels! And clouds! Lovely ones! Not something I often see in your photos. Beautiful place and a gorgeous capture! Have a wonderful weekend!
Ha ha, Peter. The nearby car park at Dolls Point is notorious for burnout tracks. The grass is usually safe from burnouts. It's just a bit dry here from lack of rain.
Very pretty. I love the natural framing with the two trees.

Nice sky with the Norfolk Island pines, though they do look a bit scrawny.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Norfolk pines and beautiful sky. I must say I'm curious about those shadows in the foreground.
ReplyDeleteNamaki, those clouds did bring some rain with them by the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteKay L. Davies, I hadn't really noticed the shadows until you mentioned them. I think it's a lamp post with a couple of overhead wires running to it.
