Dolls Point, Cook Park

These Norfolk Island Pines are located on the edge of Cook Park, overlooking Lady Robinsons Beach, in the southern suburb of Dolls Point. The clouds were rolling in from Botany Bay to threaten the sunny day.

  6. I love your composition, Jim, as always! The trees do look like sentinels! And clouds! Lovely ones! Not something I often see in your photos. Beautiful place and a gorgeous capture! Have a wonderful weekend!

  9. Ha ha, Peter. The nearby car park at Dolls Point is notorious for burnout tracks. The grass is usually safe from burnouts. It's just a bit dry here from lack of rain.

  12. The clouds moving in certainly did not affect your lovely shot. That is so neat how those trees stand so stately.

  24. Namaki, those clouds did bring some rain with them by the afternoon.

Kay L. Davies, I hadn't really noticed the shadows until you mentioned them. I think it's a lamp post with a couple of overhead wires running to it.
