This crane is located beside a walkway which runs along the foreshore of Blackwattle Bay, in the inner west suburb of Glebe. It is a remnant of Stride’s ship-breaking yard which was located where Blackwattle Bay Park is today.

Tempe, Nigel Love Bridge

The Nigel Love Bridge over Alexandra Canal, viewed from the walkway and bicycle track in Tempe Recreational Park, in the inner west suburb of Tempe. The four-lane 50-metre single span curved box girder steel bridge was built in 2014, linking Sydney Airport at Mascot to an adjoining car park. The bridge was named after Nigel Love, an aviation pioneer who in 1919 transformed a bullock paddock into Sydney Airport, one of the world's oldest continually operating airports.

Woolloomooloo, Finger Wharf, boardwalk

 

The Woolloomooloo Finger Wharf on Wooloomooloo Bay is the largest timbered-piled building in the world. The wharf and warehouse building were completed in 1915 and was a working port until the 1970s. The wharf was redeveloped in the 1990s into a hotel, apartments, restaurants and a marina.

This boardwalk is located in Carss Bush Park in the southern suburb of Carss Park. The Carss Park Boardwalk was designed to allow visitors to view delicate salt marshes and rock pools in Kogarah Bay without disturbing the environment.

Bondi, Sculpture By The Sea

Indra's Net by Kasane Low

Sculpture by the Sea is the world's largest annual free public outdoor sculpture exhibition. The annual exhibition ran from 17th October to 3rd November 2025. It is located on the two kilometre coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama. This rock formation is along the walkway in Bondi with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop and becomes the subject of an artwork every year. A view of the rock without the decorations can be seen here.

Mascot, Canal Viewing Area

 A shelter over a bench at the Canal Viewing Area in the eastern suburb of Mascot. Behind it is the redirected Airport Drive which crosses Alexandra Canal from Mascot to Tempe. A shared walkway and bicycle track runs into a subway and then along the canal.

This shared walkway and bicycle track runs alongside Alexandra Canal in the inner west suburb of Tempe. On either side, are the Approach Lighting System structures for a runway at Sydney International Airport, with two of them seen here, behind a fence on the left and on a bridge in the canal on the right.

Haberfield, paths

A crossroad of shared walkways and bicycle tracks, in the inner west suburb of Haberfield. The Green Way on the right is on the Lilyfield Road Footbridge heading to Lilyfield, which can be seen in the distance. The Bay Run on the left takes you to Five Dock. The runner is heading down Hawthorne Canal Shared Pathway which goes under the bridge to Haberfield.

This wharf is on Iron Cove on the Parramatta River, viewed from the foreshore at Sensory Park, in the inner west suburb of Lilyfield.

Sydney Wharf, pergola

 
This pergola is located along the boardwalk on Wharf 9/10 of Sydney Wharf, in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont. The redeveloped warehouse buildings on the wharves here have been converted to apartments, office space, restaurants, a museum and a marina. The Star Sydney can be seen in the distance which features a casino, bars, restaurants, shops, hotel rooms and apartments.

Barangaroo, boardwalk

A view from the boardwalk along the shore of Darling Harbour at Barangaroo. A number of these life saving devices have been installed along the shore. A ferry can be seen near Jones Bay Wharf at Pyrmont.
