The Herb Garden in the Royal Botanic Gardens is currently in full bloom. It is home to the Herb Garden Pavilion, the sundial, the birdbath, the sensory fountain and a memorial.

Botanic Gardens, sundial
This sundial stands in the middle of the Herb Garden, in the Royal Botanic Garden. It is an armillary sphere sundial made of silicon bronze that weighs 1500kg and is 2.4m tall with a 1.5m internal ring diameter. It was designed by John Ward and Margaret Folkard in 1994 and features herbs modelled in clay in high relief by sculptor Karen Rumpf from drawings by Botanic Gardens’ illustrator Marion Westmacott.

St Mary's Cathedral, The Lights of Christmas
"The Lights of Christmas" was a light projection show on the façade of St Mary's Cathedral every night from 9th December until 25th December.This view of the illuminated façade is from Cathedral Square, beside Cook and Philip Park. This year's theme is "Service" and one of the animation series featured "The Twelve Days of Christmas" song which begins with a partridge in a pear tree.

Pitt Street Mall, LEGO Christmas Tree
The LEGO Christmas Tree is located in Pitt Street Mall outside Westfield Sydney Centrepoint shopping centre. The tree is constructed from LEGO bricks, has a koala up near the top and is surrounded by presents, toy soldiers, candy canes, a reindeer, a sleigh and a life-sized Santa with a surfboard because it's Summer in Australia.

The former Liverpool Arms Hotel is located on the corner of Pitt Street and King Street at the entrance of Pitt Street Mall. The facade of the building is featuring The Lights of Christmas, a light projection show from 27th November until 25th December.

Woolloomooloo, corner shop
This former corner shop and residence is located on the corner of Forbes Street and Wilson Street, in the inner city suburb of Woolloomooloo. It was built in 1885 in the Victorian Italianate architectural style. Beside it, along Forbes Street, are a couple of terrace houses and another residential building built in the Victorian style. The colours are very eye-catching.

Redfern, St. Saviour’s Anglican Church
St. Saviour’s Anglican Church is located along Young Street, in the inner city suburb of Redfern. This heritage listed church was designed by Cyril and Arthur Blacket and built in 1885 in the Victorian Romanesque architectural style.

Circular Quay, Ship Inn
The Ship Inn is located on the corner of Pitt Street and Alfred Street at Circular Quay. This heritage listed hotel was designed in the Federation Free Classical style and built in 1902. It has been incorporated into the Gateway office building behind it.

The Rocks, Gloucester Street, terrace houses
These heritage listed terrace houses are located along Gloucester Street at the Rocks. They were built in 1914 in the Federation or Edwardian architectural style and are good examples of public housing constructed in this era. The terraces stand in the block between Gloucester Street and Cambridge Street. Gloucester Street was raised in 1910 which means the pavement in front of this building is not aligned with the road. The terraces have been continued to be used for public housing until recently when the state government has decided to sell high-value public housing properties.

The Rocks, Susannah Place Museum
The entrance to the Susannah Place Museum is down the stairs from Gloucester Street and along the Cumberland Place laneway at The Rocks. Susannah Place is a terrace of four houses built by Irish immigrants in 1844 and includes a recreated corner shop whose window can be seen here. The heritage listed museum allows visitors to experience how families lived, worked and played in the past.

Pitt Street, mural
"Here, Now" is a public art installation on the side of an office building in Pitt Street, near Park Street. It was created by Sydney-based graffiti artist Elliott Routledge also known as Numskull for the Art & About Sydney Festival.
