Surry Hills, St Peter's Catholic Church, hall

The original St Peter's Catholic Church is located along Devonshire Street, in the inner city suburb of Surry Hills. This heritage listed church was built in 1880 in the Victorian Gothic style. Since the new church was built adjacent in 1918, this building has been used as the church hall.

The presbytery for St Peter's Catholic Church is located along Devonshire Street, in the inner city suburb of Surry Hills. The original parish church was built here in 1880 and the new church in 1918 along with the heritage listed presbytery built in th Federation Queen Anne style.

Alexandria, Sydney Park, wetlands

 Sydney Park is a large recreational area in the inner city suburb of Alexandria. The former brickworks were transformed into parkland and wetlands. Stormwater is collected and recycled from surrounding suburban streets to provide constant running water.

Kurnell, The Eyes of the Land and the Sea

Looking across the shore of Botany Bay in the southern suburb of Kurnell. The large bronze sculpture on the rocks is 'The Eyes of the Land and the Sea', designed by Alison Page and Nik Lachacjzak. It was installed in 2020 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the encounter between Aboriginal Australians and the crew of the HMB Endeavour, commanded by James CookThe viewing platform on the shore is a former wharf for a passenger ferry service which operated between Kurnell and La Perouse from 1890 to 1974.

St Peter's Catholic Church is located along Devonshire Street, in the inner city suburb of Surry Hills. The parish was established here in 1880 and this church was designed by architect Austin McKay and built in 1918 in the Inter War Romanesque style.

The Surry Hills Light Rail Stop is located along Devonshire Street, beside Eddie Ward Park, in the inner city suburb of Surry Hills. It is part of the CBD and South East Light Rail Service, made up of the L2 Randwick Light Rail line and L3 Kingsford Light Rail line which run from Circular Quay.

Surry Hills, art

This artwork is on the back wall of The Colourful House of Surry Hills, a former warehouse along South Dowling Street beside Wimbo Park, in the inner city suburb of Surry Hills. It was created in 2018 by street artist Thierry Noir. The warehouse was converted into a single private residence by businessman John Winning, owner of an appliances business. His close friend, American techno DJ Seth Troxler commissioned the artwork which covers the whole building.

Kogarah, statue


This statue is located outside Jubilee Stadium along Park Street, in the southern suburb of Kogarah. It commemorates rugby league player Reg Gasnier, who played for the St George Dragons from 1958 to 1967. The statue was dedicated in 2010 at the Sydney Football Stadium in Moore Park but due to the redevelopment of that stadium moved to Jubilee Stadium in 2019 for the duration. The St George Illawarra Dragons Walk of Fame is also located here.

Pennant Hills, St Luke's Anglican Church

The former St Luke's Anglican Church is located along Pennant Hills Road in the northern suburb of Pennant Hills. It was built in 1909 in the Federation style and was considered to be the Church of England parish in Thornleigh. A new church was built beside it and this building became the church hall. In 2005 the church became St Therapon Greek Orthodox Church with this building remaining the church hall.

Moore Park, light rail tunnel

A tram emerges from the Moore Park light rail tunnel, on the corner of South Dowling Street and Devonshire Street, in the inner city suburb of Moore Park. The 500 metre tunnel runs underneath Moore Park for the CBD and South East Light Rail Service, made up of the L2 Randwick Light Rail line and L3 Kingsford Light Rail line which run from Circular Quay.

Arncliffe house

'Coburra' is a heritage listed house located along Forest Road, in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. Originally known as 'Goburra', it was completed in 1900 in the Federation style. The house was built for Theodore Williams, owner of the Reliance Knitting Company, a pioneer in the manufacture of knitted goods in Australia supplying the defence department with knitted goods for the Australian Imperial Force during World War 1.

 This fountain is in the middle of Rockdale Park, located along West Botany Street between Bryant Street and Ador Avenue, in the southern suburb of Rockdale. The park was upgraded in 2020 with a new bridge across the rebuilt water feature, landscaping, playgrounds and amenities building.
