Bronte Baths are located at the southern end of Bronte Beach, in the eastern suburb of Bronte. This pool is known as the Bond Ocean Pool after lifesaving pioneer and swimming teacher, Major John Bond.
lovely summer image. it would take me ages to get used to the fact that I have an ocean at my fingertip and can't swim at most of the places for safety reasons.
Intersting information, Jim. Good to see you at my nook for #WordlessWednessday and since its almost summer here all things beachy make me smile, even wider. :))
What a fine mix of ocean and pool swimming. Lovely photo.

ReplyDeleteAt least there's no sharks.
ReplyDeleteA good reason to pick the pool for a swim.
DeleteThank you for the photo. My spouse spent endless summers at Bondi Beach, but I must say that Bronte Baths look safer and more sociable.
ReplyDeleteA safe and beautiful place to swim.
ReplyDeleteI'd enjoy sitting in this pool, maybe with a few less people :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for being a part of 'My Corner of the World' this week!
