Mascot, Twin Arch Bridge

An illuminated Twin Arch Bridge, which carries Airport Drive over Alexandra Canal between the eastern suburb of Mascot and the inner west suburb of Tempe. It is part of the new Sydney Gateway road interchange built in 2024 to link the Sydney International Airport to the Sydney Domestic Airport and the M8 Motorway.

Tempe, Nigel Love Bridge

The Nigel Love Bridge over Alexandra Canal, viewed from the walkway and bicycle track in Tempe Recreational Park, in the inner west suburb of Tempe. The four-lane 50-metre single span curved box girder steel bridge was built in 2014, linking Sydney Airport at Mascot to an adjoining car park. The bridge was named after Nigel Love, an aviation pioneer who in 1919 transformed a bullock paddock into Sydney Airport, one of the world's oldest continually operating airports.

When the Twin Arch Bridge opened in 2024, it is restricted to a bicycle and pedestrian bridge. The jet fuel tanks are at Sydney International Airport.

This mural is on the amenities building in Memorial Park in the eastern suburb of Mascot. It was created by street artist Tim Phibs in 2021, featuring native fauna and flora around the whole toilet block such as the Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo and Rainbow Lorikeet.
