Sydney Olympic Park, ferry wharf

Sydney Olympic Park ferry wharf is located along the Parramatta River, in the western suburb of Wentworth Point. The original ferry wharf opened in 1997 to service the Sydney Olympic Park precinct for the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics. This pontoon extension was built in 2015. Sydney RiverCats are a class of catamarans operated by Sydney Ferries on the Parramatta River, which provide a regular service here from Circular Quay to Parramatta.

This lifesaver is located along Newington Wharf, in the western suburb of Sydney Olympic Park. The wharf is located along the southern shore of the Parramatta River and the George Kendall Riverside Park is located on the northern shore in Ermington.

Parramatta River, Altitude Tower

An afternoon view up the Parramatta River from the Elizabeth Street Bridge, in the western suburb of Parramatta. Altitude Tower is a 54 level apartment building along Church Street, built in 2017 and Meriton Suites is a 36 storey hotel standing beside it, built​ in 2016.

Balmain, Parramatta River

Newington Wharf, crane

A crane at Newington Wharf, in the western suburb of Sydney Olympic Park. The old Armory Wharf serviced Newington Armory, the former Royal Australian Navy armament depot. The tramway lines connect Armory Wharf with various buildings on the reserve. The small sign instructs visitors to "help prevent the spread of COVID-19" with warnings.

 This ferry wharf is on the northern side of the Parramatta River, in the north western suburb of Rydalmere. The Sydney RiverCats are a class of catamarans operated by Harbour City Ferries on the Parramatta River from Circular Quay to Parramatta.

Ryde, Wind Vanes

Wind Vanes is an artwork in Ryde Wharf Reserve, in the north western suburb of Ryde. The reserve is on the shore of the Parramatta River near Ryde Bridge. The artwork was created in 2008 by Jane Cavanough and Graham Bartholomew using tallow wood, galvanised steel and copper to create a wind responsive work. The three tapered poles are topped with a carved rowing boat, referencing the marine history of the area. The poles arise out of a decorative mosaic paving with a marine theme created by Indigenous artists Adrina Khobane and Rebecca Jones.
