Hurstville, Memorial Square

Memorial Square is located along Forest Road, in the southern suburb of Hurstville. The Hurstville War Memorial in the centre of the square was erected in 1922 to commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.

  1. This monument is already a century old. I like its simplicity. I always have a great photo.
    Happy week, Jim.

  2. So long ago and almost forgotten now. Tragic to the loved ones.

  3. Beautiful memorial. It is interesting to know that we have a similar kind of memorial for the martyrs in our city . Thanks for joining in Garden Affair.
