Carss Park, boardwalk

This boardwalk is located in Carss Bush Park in the southern suburb of Carss Park. The Carss Park Boardwalk was designed to allow visitors to view delicate salt marshes and rock pools in Kogarah Bay without disturbing the environment.

Tom Uglys Bridge

Looking underneath Tom Uglys Bridge, which crosses the Georges River and links the southern suburbs of Blakehurst and Sylvania. This truss bridge on the left, opened in 1929 and the box girder bridge on the right, opened in 1987. To the north is Tom Uglys Point at Blakehurst, believed to be named after local resident Tom Huxley and transformed by the mispronunciation by local Aborigines.

North Sydney, Victoria Cross metro station

 
Victoria Cross metro station is an underground station on the Sydney Metro North West & Bankstown Line in the north shore suburb of North Sydney. It opened in 2024 when the Metro North West Line was extended from Chatswood to Sydenham via Central. These escalators on the platforms lead to the exits at Denison Street and Miller Street.

Lewisham, sewer vent


Lewisham Sewer Vent is located along The Boulevarde, in the inner west suburb of Lewisham. The heritage listed sewer vent shaft and wall were built in 1909 in the Queen Anne Revival style.

Marrickville, art

 
This mural is in the food court of the Marrickville Metro shopping centre, in the inner west suburb of Marrickville.The artwork was created in 2021 by Steven Nuttall, also known as Ox King. It features a Superb Fairywren amongst Eucalyptus gumnuts and gumleaves.

This footbridge with ornate lamps is over Petersham railway station, in the inner west suburb of Petersham. The station opened in 1857 and is served by Sydney Trains T2 Leppington & Inner West Line and occasional T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line services.
