Haymarket, Paddy's Markets

This hand painted sign is on the wall of a Ultimo Road entrance of Paddy's Markets, in the inner city suburb of Haymarket. Paddy's Markets have operated in Haymarket since 1834 and this is part of a series of murals designed by a local artist David Doyle to mimic some of the past advertising signs. King Street Wharf 3

King Street Wharf 3 is the former ferry wharf located at King Street Wharf which has now be replaced by Barangaroo Wharf. It was used by Sydney Ferries First Fleet and RiverCat class ferries operating F3 Parramatta River and F4 Darling Harbour services from 2010 until 2017 but will be reopened for use by private operators.
