Ann, it was a few weeks ago on a Sunday evening. I was driving home and noticed the amazing show in my rear view mirror, so found a good lookout spot to take some snaps.

talk about a blazing sunset. also I thought of you last night when I saw the Heath Ledger movie, Candy. Had not heard of it and thought what a loss it was. God could he act!
Wow!! I just have to echo everyone elses comments. The skies in Sydney are truly amazing. Now through your wonderful shots, we all can revel in the amazing color.

are shepherds to see the red sky? It is so beauitfully red that it is almost unreal.
When I was young in Borneo, in August, we had skies like that. Mum tells, it is the time the natives have slash and burn. At that time there were a lot of timber, now? so sad, the orang utan has no where to hide.
Fantastic sunset shots. Sometimes I forget that you are entering Autumn while we are in spring. Interesting seeing where people are season wise around the world.
