Rookwood, horse fountain

This horse fountain is in the middle of scenic Rookwood Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, in the western suburb of Rookwood. A couple of rainbow lorikeets an be seen here taking a bath at the top of the fountain.

  5. Is that still part of the cemetery? I haven't been there for about 100 years and it was very scruffy then.

  9. Bruce, yes Rookwood Gardens is right in the middle of the cemetery. I've been there many times but only now discovered the gardens there myself.

    Robert, I guess the benches are facing in the other direction so people can enjoy the views of the gardens rather than the fountain.
