Voyager Point, footbridge

This footbridge over the Georges River connects the southwestern suburb of East Hills with Voyager Point. The sky was so blue with just a hint of a cloud creeping in.

  12. Now I know Sydney has more than just the harbour bridge, I must come to visit. In the past, I only went to Queensland.

    Thanks for visiting.

  15. I don't think people appreciate bridges nearly enough. We've got a couple of Santiago Calatrava spans planned for the Trinity River in Dallas, and folks just don't seem to realize how utterly amazing they will be.

My all-time favorite bridge was a board across a creek near my home town, and I learned to love Japanese bridges as a child in Asia--but now all sorts of bridges charm me: not the least this one.

  17. I like very much that kind of metal bridges. The colour contrast between the blue sky and the dark metal makes the image more beautiful! Very nice shots!

  24. We have many large steel bridges here especially across the nearby river and even small streams. I've never seen one of this magnitude that's for foot traffic specifically.
    Beautiful shots!

  40. I would like to visit Sydney next year. Is AUD100 enough to cover all the expenses for 1 day? I am talking about budget traveling/backpacking.

  41. Lovely! it is similar to my SO BLUE post. :)

    Thanks for the visit!

  42. fourwindsphotojournal, yes, you can take photos from the sides of the walkway. I featured some photos of East Hills from here earlier in the week.
jam, yes, I think $100 Australian per day should be enough for expenses when travelling here.
