Annandale, Rozelle Bay

This pontoon is located on the edge of Bicentennial Park, in inner west suburb of Annandale. It provides views across Rozelle Bay to the suburb of Rozelle. In the park nearby is the Esther Abrahams Pavilion, named after the woman, who with her husband George Johnston, founded the Annandale Estate which lent its name to the suburb.

  2. Nice to see beautiful blue water instead of the gray stuff where we are currently!

  3. This is a lovely lovely part of Sydney Harbour, Jim.

I am frequently astounded by your ability and patience to wait until people clear the area you want to shoot. I am the reverse as you may have figured. I have to wait until someone of interest steps into my "web". That can take a while, too!

We give balance to Sydney: you with your architecture and me with my people.

  4. Thanks Julie. It certainly requires some time and patience to get that perfect shot without the intrusions. I love your candid shots of people but for me it's the architecture and the natural formations that interest me more. As you say, it's a good balance to have both aspects of Sydney.

  5. I love your pictures of Sydney. They bring back so many memories. We lived in one of the suburbs a long time ago.
