Reminds me a bit of the stairs near the Opera House going up to the Botanical Gardens - that solid sandstone wall with the trees at the top. Wonderful Sydney sandstone. Good choice for the theme.
An unusual corner of this great park and a perfect choice for this Theme Day. Sandstone is great because has various shades of color and almost that almost unfinished raw look.
Jim, good choice in line with your current series. I've often see these stairs but never walked up. Is the park at the top worth the energy spent getting there?
Joan Elizabeth, there's nothing special in Giba Park at the top of the cliff but it provides some brilliant views of the bays, wharves and city skyline.
That's a really unusual passageway.
