Sydney Harbour Bridge, night

  1. The Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera house are instantly recognizable icons of your great city. Like the Arch in St Louis or the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I would SO like to visit your city.

  7. Beautiful. My wife and I were lucky enough to stay at the Park Hyatt (in the foreground of your photo) a little while ago.

I never tire of looking at that harbour.

  8. You are experimenting with layout a bit at the moment, Jim. I prefer the larger images even though I could embiggen. I realise they stuff up the layout of the template though.

One never tires of this view of the harbour.

  15. Jim, the Hyatt should buy this photo from you! (It was worth enlarging.) Clear image, great composition. And of course the stunning bridge. :-)

  19. Okay, had a check through. Nothing jumps out at me as being an oops. However, there is a style thing. See your header banner. You might consider either making that the SAME width as your 'main' or centring it above your 'main'. My eye says to centre the text within this banner or at least take it a bit further away from the left hand edge.

Then you are confronted with a problem that I have all the time. Do I have all my images large or do I have some large and some medium? I have image sizes 640 and 320. So I often choose the layout of a 640 and underneath and just touching this 640 I will put 2 x 320. What to do with the 'wasted' space if you have one image portrait and the other landscape? I work around this one, but still not happy with it.
