This lifesaver's tower located near the Elouera Surf Lifesaving Club, sits behind Elouera Beach at Cronulla and provides an optimum view of swimmers and surfers in the ocean.
If I had to select just one iconic image that said AUSTRALIA, I would select life savers in their huts or supervising on along the beach. Even on an empty beach, the life savers' hut is evocative.

Thanxx for your comment under one of my recent posts, dear friend from Australia. Obviously the weather down under is a litte better then the one we have currently here at good old Germany! Don't forget your sunblocker while I look for the comforter... ;-)
What a nice beachy scene. Makes me want to glob on the sunscreen and grab my towel! If you have the time, stop by my page at www.adventureswithjessica.blogspot.com and check things out. New followers are always welcome :) Thanks!

ReplyDeleteWith the sharks and worrisome tides, Australia seems to take swimmer safety very seriously. Nice photo.
