The Tarban Creek Bridge carries Burns Bay Road over Tarban Creek, between the suburbs of Hunters Hill and Huntleys Point. Tarban Creek Bridge is a concrete arch bridge which opened in 1965. It formed a missing link between the Gladesville Bridge and Fig Tree Bridge. It was originally planned to form part of a north-western expressway, which was never built.
You know your stuff Jim. I have some old UBD's that cover the Lane Cove River in dotted lines of proposed expressways, Thank God they were never built!!!
