Newtown, silo apartments


These former grain silos have been converted into apartments, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. They are part of the former Crago Flour Mills, a former industrial estate beside the railway lines, which has had its factory buildings and silos reused in a new residential estate.

  7. I love the idea that important historical industrial buildings can be salvaged and renovated, instead of destroying them.

    My attention was drawn to the process in saving a very important Brisbane site:
