Milsons Point, Luna Park

The entrance to Luna Park, an amusement park in the north shore suburb of Milsons Point. Luna Park opened in 1935, on the site of the former workshops for the Sydney Harbour Bridge. At the moment, the face sports a moustache for Movember, an event that started in Australia in 2004. During November each year, men grow moustaches for Movember to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health.

    1. It is also a lot of fun when people you know (who don't normally have any facial hair) grow a random mo for a month. :)

  5. Oh, yes, Movember. I have encountered that several times. But, I have not participated. I had a mustache only one time, about 20 years ago, and abandoned it after two months. I looked like a child molester.

    1. It's true. Moustaches do make some men look rather sinister or suss. :)

  7. No, Jim, I don't know anything about that Church. Not sure that I know where it is, I have passed one on the Highway somewhere near the private hospital but don't know if its that one.
