Darling Harbour, Rubber Duck

"Rubber Duck" is a gigantic inflatable artwork that has been installed in Cockle Bay, at Darling Harbour for the Sydney Festival, an annual event in January. This 15-metre or five-storey high artwork was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman.

  1. We down south know all about the rubber duck, but I haven't seen such a great photo of duck.

  3. This is like a watery version of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. What is next? A bar of soap and giant children in the water playing with the rubber ducky?

  4. That is humungous! It seems to be more than 5 storeys high going by the buildings behind! Maybe that's just a perspective! Great photo!

  6. Now what I want to know Jim is ... Where does the yellow rubber duck live when he's not in Sydney Harbour? or does he roam the high seas searching for a safe haven.

  11. Conheci Sydney e esta Baía é linda. A Darling Harbour é ótima para passear, ir à restaurantes ...
Fui em Janeiro de 2012. Não vi o pato. Ele apareceu este ano. Só vi através fotos, propagandas.
    Gostei da brincadeira da cor.
    Felicidades.
