Edgecliff, bank

This former bank building is located on New South Head Road, in the eastern suburb of Edgecliff. This art deco style building is now used as commercial premises by a medical centre and a photographic studio.

  1. Beautiful building, too bad they mar it with those signs!

  2. Wonder if they help people with Curriculum Vita writing, or if they just deal with physical health? Deco is a great style.

    1. Just health, I imagine. Don't know why they chose that name for the practice.

  3. An art deco bank is not something we see very often. They could have done a better job of making the signage go with the style of the building.

    1. Yes, I think an art deco style sign would be quite eye catching for the businesses too.

  7. I love it when I get to see some art deco buildings. They are few and far between here in our neck of the woods. This is a nice one. genie
