Randwick, St Jude's Fountain

St Jude's Fountain is located on the corner of Alison Road and Church Street, in the eastern suburb of Randwick. It was sculpted by Walter McGill and opened on 9 November 1866 as the first public water supply to this area. This sandstone fountain was originally fed by an underground spring and in 2000 had some conservation work done on it.

  1. That's so cool that the fountain was once fed by a spring.
A nice old fountain. Wonder how I could have missed seeing it when I lived in Randwick more than a year.
