The Sydney Harbour Bridge has been illuminated for the Vivid Sydney Festival, running from 24 May to 10 June 2013. "Colour The Bridge" uses interactive lighting technology which allows visitors to choose their own colours to light up the bridge. It uses over 100,000 energy-efficient LED lights and designed especially for Vivid Sydney by 32 Hundred Lighting and Intel. This angle includes part of Pier One and is viewed from Pier 2 of the wharf at Walsh Bay.
I love this, including the reflected colors in the water. We have done the Bridge Climb twice. The bridge is a masterpiece.
ReplyDeleteThe Vivid Festival certainly seems to be one of Sydney's premiere events and justifiably so.
ReplyDeleteIs this the blue and maroon 'State of Origin' feature, I like it. (re The mosque - just renos I think.
ReplyDeleteYes, they did one completely in blue on the night of the State of Origin for New South Wales. I doubt they would have been as generous to do one in maroon for Queensland. ;)
